Island Post Cap - The Bentwood Fence System

THE BENTWOOD FENCE SYSTEM

Brought to design from the stately homes of historic New England. The Bentwood Fence System incorporates curved rail accents and very fast and easy installation. Manufactured from Clear Kiln Dried Western Red Cedar, the Bentwood System has many project options. Measure for the desired overall length and by by component. Easily installed with dowel pin connection to Newell posts with predrilled railings for spindles.
Component options include the following
Round Spindle - Two points available: the acorn with groove below point or dome (no groove). This 1-1/4" diameter spindle is available in 36", 42", 48" 60" or 72" lengths. The spindles may be installed straight across the top for a traditional look or staggered for a more Victorian approach.
Quarter Circle Rail - Rails are pre-drilled (standard distance of 3-1/2" on center) for easy installation of the spindles. The 36" diameter have 15 pre-drilled holes and the 48" diameter have 20 pre-drilled holes. Both rails have double doweled ends for easy and secure fastening to Newell posts.
Matching Molded Rail - The 2x4 straight rail is available plain, routed for hand rail, or pre-drilled 3-1/2" on center. Select from 48" rail pre-drilled with 13 holes or 96" rail pre-drilled with 27 holes. Both have double dowel ends.
Newell Fence Post - The Bentwood Newell is available in fluted or routed edged. Each newell has a double doweled hole for easy rail insertion. Please specify desired length of posts and if lines, end or corners. A full range of slip over and non-slip over post caps and finials are available to accent the newels.
Lantern Post - The Bentwood lantern post is available in a 6x6x76" hollow to retrofit old metal lamp posts, or 96" solid "wire ready". The fluted design is on all four sides of the post. Please specify desired post length.
Beaded Skirt Board - This board provides the final detail to the bottom and top rail giving the rail a skirted finishing touch.
